L'esprit de la mer

Il s'agit d'une peinture acrylique sur papier de format rectangulaire. Elle représente une tortue géante et un enfant nageant en dessous d'elle. C'est la tortue Caouanne, l'esprit de la mer, un mastodonte bienveillant. L'enfant qui nage en dessous d'elle symbolise l'humanité. J'ai voulu exprimer le fait qu'il est possible de poursuivre notre chemin d'humain en harmonie avec la nature, qui, à la fois, nous domine et nous protège. Pour les personnages, j'ai utilisé des brosses plates, et pour le fond, des tampons.

This is an acrylic painting on rectangular paper. It represents a giant tortoise and a child swimming below it. It's the Loggerhead turtle, the spirit of the sea, a benevolent mastodon. The child swimming below her symbolizes humanity. I wanted to express the fact that it is possible to pursue our human path in harmony with nature, which both dominates and protects us. For the characters, I used flat brushes, and for the background, stamps.
